Hij speelde op de altblokfluit een sonate van Bach en twee Japanse werken op verschillende fluiten en een gong, waarbij hij het publiek mede door zijn spontane uitleg en de “grappen” die hij daarbij uithaalde (twee fluiten tegelijk bespelen, fluiten en “zingen” tegelijk, etc.) zeer wist te boeien.”
